JSC “Vesvela” company was founded in 2009 in Klaipeda, Lithuania and has been involved in catching and trading fish. At the same time company started construction of the fish processing plant which have been completed and started first production early in 2015. Plant is one of the largest and most modern fish processing factories in Lithuania.



Klaipeda Free Economic Zone (FEZ).
Klaipeda is the most northern year-round ice-free port in Europe. Klaipeda has always stood at the crossroads of trade, tourism and culture. Its unique geographical position makes Klaipeda a gateway and distribution hub connecting the sea, land, and rail routes from the East and West. Klaipeda FEZ is one of the first and most effectively managed free economic zones in the region according to the number of investments attracted and jobs created. Within its 412 ha area, companies are provided with specific preferential economic and legal conditions for their production and warehousing operations.


Newly opened plant specializes in filleting white fresh and frozen fish from Norway. It uses in the production the latest technologies which comply with strictest European Union requirements, Lithuanian laws and regulations. Processing plant has 4000 square meters of working area and can process about 8000 tons of raw material per year.
